The new HOHNER HIGHLANDER. Now you can play your favourite pipe tunes in A/D along with the small pipes, fiddle, whistle, guitar or accordion.

It is double-sided, which means that there is the option to play certain tunes in D, for a variety purposes - or sets in A/D.

But with its two Gsharps on the A side flattened to G (mixolydian tuning) it facilitates the obtaining of the “flattened seventh” notes required to enable one to play many many bagpipe tunes on the harmonica, hitherto not possible.

It is that simple - but hugely significant - modification of the already existing Hohner Echo Harp 55/80 tremolo model (with re-branding and fresh packaging) which is the Hohner Highlander.
